Position SummaryThe Maintenance & Automation Analyst supports equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. This role works with assembly equipment, PLC-controlled systems, robotics, AGVs, conveyors, and automated manufacturing technologies to minimize downtime and improve performance.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, controls, and automation equipment.
- Perform and improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
- Support production downtime recovery and root-cause analysis.
- Monitor equipment performance, downtime, MTTR, and MTBF metrics.
- Support PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, AGVs, and automated systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and recommend reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Management to resolve equipment issues.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, automation, or controls.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Working knowledge of PLC-controlled systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with preventive maintenance and downtime reduction.
- Universal Robots, AGVs/AMRs, PLC programming, conveyors, servo drives, machine vision systems, industrial networking, CMMS, and root-cause analysis tools.
