CNC Machinist – Turning/Milling/Grinding

What You’ll Be Doing as CNC Machinist:

* Ensuring the smooth, efficient running of CNC machines

* Producing components that consistently meet strict quality standards

* Delivering work On Time In Full (OTIF)

* Carrying out self-inspection and sanctioning of your own work

* Working across turning, milling, and grinding operations (cell-dependent)

* Supporting excellent workplace organisation and 5S standards

* Gaining full cross-training across all cell disciplines

* Occasionally assisting with assembly, pinning, or non-machinery tasks

What We’re Looking for as CNC Machinist:

Essential:

* Previous experience in CNC turning or milling or grinding

* Confident using standard measuring equipment

* Background in an engineering or manufacturing environment

* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail

* A reliable, team-focused attitude with a commitment to quality

* Comfortable following procedures and working to targets

Desirable:

* NVQ in Engineering Manufacture (or equivalent) / Advanced Apprenticeship

* GCSE English & Maths (Grade C or above)

* Computer literacy

Shift Pattern:

* A

Shift:

Mon–Thu: 6:00am – 1:35pm

Fri: 6:00am – 12:45pm

* B

Shift:

Mon–Thu: 1:25pm – 9:05pm

Fri: 12:35pm – 7:00pm (20% shift premium)

* Overtime available when required
