The Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Team Member to support our growth and help expand our client base, with a focus on the construction sector. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and helping us reach more companies and individuals who can benefit from our training services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction and related sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Support marketing initiatives, including social media outreach (Linked In, Facebook)
  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Track competitor activity and market trends to inform business strategy
  • Collaborate with the training and operations teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as needed
  • Support the operations manager with their workload

About You

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in training, education, or construction)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using digital tools and social media for outreach
  • Knowledge of the Scottish construction sector is an advantage
