Location: Shotts ML7 5DW

Must hold a full driving licence (no more than 6 points) to be eligible for this role.

Shift Patterns
  • 12 days on / 2 days off (work 12 days, weekend off and continue)
  • 6 days on / 1 day off
  • Part‑time over 4 days – shift patterns of Sat‑Tue or Thu‑Sun
  • Vacancies for high‑speed operatives (night shifts). These roles require a 12AB Lantra qualification.

Role Overview

As a Traffic Management Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow on highways and construction sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up and maintaining traffic management systems.
  • Safely directing traffic during roadworks, events, and emergencies.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth operations.
  • Upholding our people‑first culture and contributing to our fresh cultural change program.
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to work the shift patterns as stated above.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and held for more than 10 months.
  • Within 40 minutes driving distance from the depot.
  • Valid traffic management qualifications (e.g., Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, or Unit 2 – desirable, not essential).
