You’ll be part of a dedicated and supportive team, working collaboratively with partner agencies to provide a swift and effective safeguarding response outside normal working hours.

Work-Life Balance: Enjoy every third weekend off to recharge and spend time with family or pursue personal interests, and every 3 weeks workers have a full weekend off.

Deliver high-quality social work services to vulnerable children and families, ensuring compliance with statutory and departmental requirements.

Manage a caseload of complex cases
, performing assessments, planning, implementing, and reviewing tailored social work interventions.

Conduct urgent assessments and decision‑making in out‑of‑hours situations, ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing at all times.

Work collaboratively with the Integrated Front Door and daytime teams to ensure continuity and effective follow‑up support.

Maintain professional standards in line with Social Work England’s Code of Practice
, promoting best practice and ethical conduct.

Record and share accurate information efficiently within the case management system and with partner agencies.

• Mon‑Thurs 5pm, until 8.30am, Friday 4.30pm until 8.30am and Saturday – Sunday evenings 5pm – 8.30am and Saturday and Sunday day time 8.30am – 5pm
