Senior Care Assistant – HC-One, North Shields, England

About The Role: This full‑time position works either day (8 am‑8 pm) or night (8 pm‑8 am) shifts. Flexibility is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver person‑centred care that promotes dignity and independence.
• Develop and maintain personalised care plans with residents and their families.
• Lead and support a team of Care Assistants to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager with medication administration and physical/mental stimulation activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Level 2 Diploma or NVQ in Adult Social Care (or equivalent); readiness to obtain Level 3.
• Background in person‑centred care planning and dementia care.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Positive energy, kindness and excellent interpersonal communication.
