Job Title : HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Driver - Day Shift (North Shields) Start Time : 06 : 00 | Trunk Runs | Ad-Hoc Support

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with our client based in North Shields. Due to ongoing demand, our client is looking to expand their transport team to support trunk deliveries across the UK.

• Start time : 06 : 00 , day shift
• Trunk runs to set UK locations - no handball
• Work includes ad-hoc shifts , sickness and holiday cover
• Customer-facing role - friendly and professional attitude required
• A driving assessment and induction will be required prior to starting

• Must hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Must have at least 1 year of commercial Class 1 driving experience
  
  Clean licence preferred (minor points considered)
• Smart appearance and good communication skills are essential

• Day shifts only , starting at 06 : 00
• Shifts offered on an ad-hoc basis with ongoing support required
• Flexibility required for sickness and holiday cover

• £16.00 per hour - Monday to Friday (first 8 hours)
• £24.00 per hour - Monday to Friday (after 8 hours)
• £24.00 per hour - Saturday (all hours)
• £32.00 per hour - Sunday & Bank Holidays (all hours)
