Role Description

This is a full‑time, off‑site role for a Business Development Manager, based in the UK. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategies to meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Develop strategies to meet sales goals
  • Conduct market research and analyse trends
  • Create strategies for target markets
  • Act as the initial contact point for new business and represent Chirton Engineering at industry events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions are aligned with customer requirements and deliver exceptional value to clients
Qualifications
  • Proven skills in Business Development, Sales Strategy, and Account Management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities
  • Capability to perform market research, analyse trends, and identify new opportunities
  • Knowledge of the industries served by Chirton Engineering such as Defence, Nuclear, Aviation, Oil & Gas, or Renewable Energy is an advantage
  • Proficiency in CRM and other sales management tools
  • A self‑motivated and goal‑oriented mindset
