Domestic Assistant - 8 hours per week - Permenant About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Domestic Assistant. Working Hours are Thursday and Friday daytimes, and on approximately a 4 weekly cycle you will be required to work 2 hour shifts Saturday and Sunday but will receive the following Friday off in lieu. You will provide an efficient and effective cleaning service across designated areas of our Extra Care scheme, ensuring agreed standards are met within both communal areas and individual customer settings.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality cleaning services in assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as directed.
- Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and customer-focused environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Previous cleaning experience is essential, experience working with vulnerable people is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Driving Licence is desirable.
- Delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all communal and residential areas, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents.
- Comply with infection control measures and organisational procedures at all times.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with residents, colleagues, and visitors.
- Maintain accurate cleaning records and adhere to organisational policies.
- Support fire safety by keeping exits and communal areas clear and accessible.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored safely and securely.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to support continuous improvement and best practice.
