Salary: £11.20 per hour

Hours of Work: 45 hours per week

Shift Patterns: 06:00 – 15:00 or 15:00 – 00:00

Reporting to: Production Manager

Start Date: Flexible – we work around your current commitments.

As a Food and Drink Operative Apprentice, you will work in a chilled manufacturing environment, learning how to bring products from the farm to the consumer. The apprenticeship aligns with the Level 2 Food & Drink Operative standard.

• Produce high‑quality products to customer specifications.
• Operate a variety of machinery and production equipment.
• Ensure correct labelling, weight and quality‑assurance documentation.
• Report defects and address concerns as part of the quality system.

• Drive, determination and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Reliability and flexibility, including ability to work various shifts.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance (crucial requirement).

• No formal qualifications required, but a minimum of GCSEs in English (Grade 3/D) and Maths (Grade 3/D) or the ability to complete Functional Skills Maths and English Level 1.
• Motivation to learn and complete an apprenticeship.
