FLT Driver

Major Recruitment are looking for forklift drivers on a permanent basis. Our client near to Northallerton is looking for experienced counterbalance drivers for immediate starts.

A PERMANENT CONTRACT
£30k per annum with progression to £34k
Christmas Bonus
Overtime
40 hours per week - 6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6 on a weekly rotation

This opportunity as an FLT Driver, gives you the chance to work with one of the most successful manufacturers in the region.

As an FLT Driver, you will join a rotating shift system:
Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm to 6am.

FLT Driver Duties:

Daily meetings with the team leader or supervisor
To help prioritise workloads within the department / designated warehouse area
To deal with the movement of products within the warehouse, using a Counterbalance FLT
Picking and packing duties when required, and taking instructions from supervisors and management
Loading and unloading wagons
Reach Truck usage in multi-level racking, approx. 10 meters high
Maintain the company's health & safety standards at all times
To follow all legal and company requirements to the use of forklifts in the Warehouse FLT Driver

Role Requirements:

Experience of working in a warehouse environment
An in-date Counterbalance Licence (RTITB / ITTSAR)
An in-date Reach Truck Licence (RTITB/ITTSAR)
Must be punctual

Communicates effectively on all levels
High attention to detail
The ability to follow a process
