Senior Accountant - Growing Independent Practice Northampton £35,000 - £46,000 (DOE)

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be working with a well-established and forward-thinking accountancy firm in Northampton, who are now seeking a Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. As Senior Accountant, you will deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services across a broad range of clients, working closely with experienced colleagues in a supportive team environment.

• Preparing year-end accounts for Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships & Charities
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Completing personal tax returns
• Overseeing workflow and planning work effectively
• Holding client review meetings and building strong relationships
• Assisting with training, development, and mentoring of junior staff

• ACA / ACCA qualified, nearly qualified, or qualified by experience
• Experienced in an accountancy practice environment with strong technical knowledge
• Confident communicating with clients at all levels
• Familiar with CCH and Xero (desirable)
