Position: Quantity Surveyor - New Build Housing
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor, with a background in New Build Housing?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a respected and trusted, independently owned housing developers in the UK, who are currently on the look out for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis out of their office in Northampton. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be play a pivotal role in ensuring the commercial success of our developments by working clsoely with our operations and commercial teams to deliver projects to deadlines, in budget and to a high standard.

What are we looking for?

* Prior experience as a QS, within a new build housing setting.

* Ability to form strong working relationships

* Good planning and time management skills

* Excellent negotiating skills

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain budget control

* Produce accurate bi-monthly valuations

* Procure sub-contractors, good and materials

* Payment approvals and processing

* Prepare valuation reports

* Liaise with site team and sub-contractors

* Provide support to the commercial department
