Quantity Surveyor

PSR Solutions are working with an established client within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to Join their Commercial team on a permanent basis. This role with be a project based out of their Northampton office working across projects across Anglian Water.

Quantity Surveyor Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit levels
• Ensure accurate cash flow reporting takes place
• Carry out cost management, including forecasting
• Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plan
• Accurate monthly forecasting
• Ability to challenge resources and costs
• Maintain deadlines in line with the monthly commercial calendar

Quantity Surveyor Requirements

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course
• NEC Contract experience is Essential
• Previous experience in the construction industry
• Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
• Have knowledge and experience in estimation and cost analysis.
• Excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
• Valid driving licence

Quantity Surveyor Benefits

• Salary - 40,000 - 60,000 DOE
