The Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing costs and budgets for bespoke interior projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic, design-led environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
  • Support in managing project costs from initial design through to completion.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and manage procurement.
  • Monitor project progress and report on financial performance.
  • Help prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying role (assistant or trainee level).
  • Knowledge of construction or interior fit-out projects.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with estimating software is a plus.
  • A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management (or working towards).
