Architectural Technician
Location:
Northamptonshire
Salary: £37-45,000
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced and motivated Architectural Technician to join a dynamic and growing practice in Northamptonshire.
This role offers the chance to contribute to a variety of high-quality projects, ranging from residential to commercial developments, within a creative and collaborative studio environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior architects and designers to produce detailed technical drawings, models, and specifications, ensuring designs are accurately translated into practical solutions that meet relevant standards and regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in projects from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
Assist in the development of designs, ensuring all technical aspects are carefully considered
Collaborate with project teams to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule
Coordinate with external consultants and contractors to maintain technical accuracy
Conduct site surveys and inspections to support project development
Keep up-to-date with building regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as an Architectural Technician with a strong portfolio of work
Relevant degree or qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and detailing
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach
