An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Architectural Technician to join a well-established and growing architectural practice based in Northamptonshire.

This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects across the residential and commercial sectors, within a collaborative and design-led studio environment.

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
Support the design development process, ensuring technical viability and compliance
Collaborate with internal project teams to deliver projects on time and to a high standard
Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies
Undertake site surveys and attend site inspections as required
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, industry standards, and best practice

Key Requirements

Demonstrable experience in a similar Architectural Technician role
Degree or relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and detailing
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proactive, detail-focused, and solution-driven approach
