The Mounts Medical Centre is looking for a newly qualified or experienced, enthusiastic, motivated GP to join our dedicated team. We are a friendly and supportive practice based in the town centre of Northampton with a diverse patient population of over 165 000 patients.

• Provide high quality patient care.
• Carry out surgery, telephone and video consultations and undertake home visits.
• Liaise with other team members and organisations involved in patient care and respond promptly to queries.
• Investigate and refer patients as appropriate in line with current guidance.
• Deal promptly with results and correspondence.
• Provide cover as required when other GPs are on leave.
• Collect data for audit and QoF purposes.
• Maintain excellent communication with patients and carers.
• Attend clinical, clinical governance and educational meetings.
• Act as a strong team player and collaborative working partner with all team members.
• Effectively manage own time, workload and resources.
• Attend required training events such as PLT and feedback.
• Report significant incidents involving the practice.

• A vocational trained and accredited GP, preferably MRCGP. Current registration with the GMC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• IT proficiency and familiarity with primary care clinical systems (practice uses TPP Systm One).
• Excellent time‑keeping.
• Exceptional team player.
• Good understanding of GMS contracting requirements and QoF.

Pay scheme: Starting at £100,000 with a competitive pay structure and flexible working options.
