QHSE Advisor

Here at GXO, we are recruiting a QHSE Advisor to join our team in Northampton, supporting our shared user site. You’ll assist the QHSE Manager in ensuring that Health and Safety remains top of everyone’s agenda.

This is a full‑time, permanent position, primarily Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, with occasional flexibility required.

• Support the QHSE Manager in ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental matters are dealt with quickly, efficiently and in line with legislation and best practice
• Ensure adherence to all appropriate health, safety and environment standards in relation to legislation
• Log all details for incidents, accidents, Care Cards and Near Misses fully on Fastworks, providing training, support and communication of processes to site managers
• Review Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work for all tasks carried out within the warehouse

• Previous experience in an operationally focused Health and Safety role
• Essential qualification of NEBOSH General Certificate
• Strong working knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislative framework
• Strong ability to establish relationships with stakeholders at all levels, with a results‑driven approach to sharing best practice
