Are you an experienced Planner looking to join a busy and growing construction team? A well-established main contractor is seeking an Industrial Planner to support delivery across a variety of large-scale projects — from industrial and logistics schemes to commercial and complex builds.
What This Role Is About
You’ll play a key role in planning activity across both tender and live projects. This is a hands-on position where you’ll prepare programmes, support tenders, monitor progress on site, and work closely with project teams to ensure accurate scheduling and delivery sequencing.

Key Responsibilities

* Liaise with tender teams to develop logistics and optimal build sequences.

* Prepare detailed tender programmes with supporting graphics and preliminaries.

* Develop full suites of programmes for contract, construction, design, and procurement stages.

* Attend meetings and support presentations for tender interviews.

* Undertake regular site visits to monitor programme progress and provide accurate assessments for internal teams and clients.

* Assess impacts of variations/changes and prepare completion programmes.
About You

* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to work across teams and projects.

* Construction planning experience, ideally within industrial, logistics, or large programme environments.

* Competent with planning software such as Asta Power project (or equivalent), and confident with Excel and PowerPoint.

* Industry-relevant qualification (e.g., ONC/HNC, BEng, NVQ) or equivalent hands-on experience.
