Job Description

Richmond Villages, a retirement village provider, delivers person-centred care supporting independence. We are seeking a Village Manager to lead operations, teams, and residents across independent living, assisted living, and care home.

Responsibilities
  • Develop systems, processes, and practices to strengthen resident care.
  • Manage trading performance, profitability, and provide financial reports to the Operations Director.
  • Coach, manage performance, and train staff to deliver a resident-focused service.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Lead and Care Home Manager to ensure high-quality care, hospitality, and support services.
  • Build long-term relationships with residents, families, customers, and external organisations such as CQC.
  • Lead by example, interacting and communicating effectively with customers and the wider community.
Key Skills / Qualifications
  • Experience as a Village Manager or managing a large care setting.
  • Strong decision-making, vision, and confidence in challenging current processes.
  • Experience leading teams on continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills adapting style to meet needs of stakeholders.
  • Approachable, open, and able to empower team to deliver high standards of care.

DBS check required; cost covered by Bupa (£40).
