You’ll dive into data reporting, exception analysis, and process improvements—helping us standardise and streamline the way we work. Based at our Northampton head office with flexible home‑working options (up to 3 days in the office), this is your chance to make an impact at the heart of our payroll operations.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, a cycle‑to‑work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day- Support the payroll team and wider payroll stakeholder group with the analysis of payroll data, identifying and escalating any omissions or errors.
- Provide monthly management and payroll frequency reports along with payroll performance reporting.
- Develop a detailed understanding of our payroll data requirements and become a subject matter expert for the reporting tools used.
- Support and lead on continuous improvement and project activities to develop the payroll processes and reporting tools.
- Solid background in payroll with a strong track record of working with large amounts of data and reporting, confident user of a data analytics tool such as Power BI, Google Analytics or Tableau, SQL knowledge & advanced MS Access. Knowledge of Java or Python would be a big tick.
- Familiarity with working with data lake/warehouse(s) and VBA knowledge to remove manual activity.
- Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
- Hands‑on and in‑depth experience of working with ADP Global View, SAP or similar payroll products.
- Ability to coach and mentor.
