We are now recruiting for a Shift Supervisor. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to the high standards of safe and efficient operations at the Terminal. You’ll be supported with personalised on‑the‑job training, coaching, mentoring and twice‑yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.

• Ensure the safe handling of all fuels and additives received, stored and distributed at the Terminal, in line with appropriate Safety Standards and legislation.
• Supervise the maintenance of plant and equipment ensuring Integrity Management (IM) standards are adhered to.
• Provide 24‑hour 7‑day service to maintain safe and efficient operation of all logistics driver and contractor workforce ensuring customer focus priorities are not compromised.
• Act as the competent person on site during absence of the line manager.
• Participate in operational site meetings.
• Maintain operational key performance indicators (KPIs).

• NVQ Level 3 in Process Operations or equivalent.
• Experience working within a high‑hazard or COMAH‑regulated environment.
• Evidence of competence in supervising safety‑critical operations.
• Ability to supervise term contract operators and exercise functional authority over contractors, drivers and visitors.
• Strong working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, including permits to work, RAMS review and isolations.
• Experience of fuel import and export activities, tank farm operations, and product integrity controls.
