Machine Operative; Temporary

Position: Machine Operative (Temporary)
We are looking to recruit a reliable Tooling Crib for our client based in Lodge Farm, NN5. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, local company at their Northampton site.

PAY:

£13.25- £13.50 (DOE) per hour up to 37.5 hours with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

HOURS:

Monday-Thursday: 7am-3:30pm

Friday: 7am- 12:30pm

JOB DUTIES:

To ensure machine tooling is delivered to the production lines as per production demands.
Support manufacturing by carrying out any required machining or general production operations.
Review and interpret setup sheets, tooling lists as per line requirements.
Maintain tooling database ensuring all new tooling is added and tooling lists are created when needed (Will get trained on their CRM/WMS).
Ensure tooling is available and in safe usable condition prior to production runs (quality checking of machine tooling).
Maintain work areas and equipment in a neat and orderly manner respective of 5S standards, ensure that all equipment is within calibration and certified for use.
Perform production machining tasks utilizing various machine tools and metrology equipment.
