Production Planner

A high performance engine manufacturing business is looking to bring a Production Planner into their operations team. This role plays a key part in ensuring manufacturing activity is accurately scheduled, materials are available, and customer demand is met without disruption. If you enjoy coordinating people, processes, and materials within a high-performance technical environment, this is a great opportunity.

In this position, you’ll take ownership of production scheduling, resource planning and material coordination, ensuring manufacturing targets are met efficiently and on time.

• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly production schedules aligned with customer demand and inventory targets.
• Coordinate material supply requirements, collaborating with purchasing, warehouse teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Create and manage production and purchase orders, ensuring accurate data is maintained within the ERP system.
• Monitor capacity, propose recovery plans, and participate in daily production planning reviews to minimise downtime and optimise workflow.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, planning principles, and capacity scheduling.
• Experience using ERP systems within a planning function (SAP experience beneficial).
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability and excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational and time-management skills.

This position is based 5 days a week onsite working within a lucrative company who supply high value engines and engine components to customers across the Automotive and Motorsport industries.
