Security Officer

Join Kingdom Services Group Ltd as a Security Officer working within the premises of a site in Northampton, NN1.

The Security Officer is responsible for providing a secure environment within the facility, balancing excellent customer service and security tasks to ensure safety while addressing visitor and staff needs.

We’re looking to bring the right person onto the team ASAP.

£12.21 per hour.

On average 56 hours per week, working 6 nights on, 3 off.

18:30 – 06:30.

• Greet and assist visitors and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
• Manage the sign-in/out process, check identification, and issue visitor passes.
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure no unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Monitor and control building access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Implement proper security protocols to handle breaches or suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas to identify any security risks.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or suspicious activities.
• Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or safety hazards.
• Report and document any security incidents, breaches, or suspicious activities in detail.

• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Professional approach, balanced judgement, and keen eye for detail.
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable but not essential.
• A valid SIA DS licence or be in the process of applying for one.
• A full five-year checkable employment history.
