• Protect customers' property, people and/or assets by providing security services in accordance with the site’s published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes.
• Deliver results that meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements via full responsibility and accountability, aiding contract retention.
• Undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, legal and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK law.
• Fully and satisfactorily complete all tasks and duties on site per Assignment Instructions.
• Proactively review Assignment Instructions and suggest amendments to improve service level.
• Maintain required licences (front‑line licence in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, CCTV PSS SIA Licence, etc.) and wear them at all times.
• Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements of the role.
• Follow instructions without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work in a systematic, methodological, and orderly manner.

• Complete all required competency training.
• Undertake additional training for continuous self-development as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and professional development.
• Renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.

• Look out for and immediately report any health & safety hazards or potential hazards on site.
• Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
• Use common sense and involve others if the situation becomes threatening.
• Maintain professional conduct in the face of difficult situations and challenging customers.
• Complete an accurate, detailed notebook entry after any incident.
• Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
• Ensure check calls are carried out at the allocated time slot as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions.
• Call emergency services and the Communication Centre to report all incidents.

• Previous Security Experience.
• SIA Licence.
• SC Clearance desirable.
