Social Worker – Family Safeguarding (Permanent)
Location:
Northamptonshire (Hybrid working available) Salary: £40,369 – £43,686 plus £6,000 Welcome bonus (depending on experience)

Permanent Pro Social Partners are proud to be partnering with Northamptonshire Children’s Trust to recruit Permanent Social Workers within their Family Safeguarding Service. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Trust that has made significant progress in improving outcomes for children and families, building a culture of stability, reflection, and genuine professional growth. The Family Safeguarding Service in Northamptonshire places relationship based, trauma informed practice at the centre of everything it does helping families to stay together safely and supporting lasting positive change.
The Role Work directly with children and families to build strong, trusting, and effective relationships. Manage a varied caseload, ensuring children are safeguarded and their voices are heard in all planning. Use the Family Safeguarding model to support families through strength-based, multi-agency interventions. Work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop plans that promote safety, stability, and resilience. About You You’ll be a dedicated and resilient practitioner with: A recognised Social Work qualification and current SWE registration. Post-qualifying experience in children’s services — ideally in safeguarding, assessment, or child protection. The ability to deliver focused, outcome-driven interventions that make a measurable difference. A commitment to relationship-based practice and multi-agency collaboration.
