Lead Software Developer - Northampton (Hybrid) - Salary £70k + Bonus

About the role:

As a Lead Software Developer, you won't just be managing a team, you'll be an essential part of the development of their products. You'll be hands-on with code, lead architectural decisions, and drive innovation from within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate team planning activities in alignment with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies, overseeing project increments and iterations to achieve organisational objectives
• Coach, mentor, and empower team members to grow both technically and personally, offering constructive feedback and fostering continuous professional development to enhance team performance and career progression.
• Take responsibility for the team's deliverables by establishing and maintaining high standards for testing, code integrity, and overall system reliability.
• Architect and deliver solutions utilising CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) and Event Bus patterns, with a strong focus on AWS-based publish/subscribe architectures
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and key stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, provide insights, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle

• Modern JavaScript Frameworks - Angular
• REST APIs
• Postman for API Testing
• SQL Server
