HGV 2 Hiab Drivers

Location: Hardingstone

M4 Recruitment we are looking for a HGV 2 HIAB drivers to join our customers home delivery teams.
Successful drivers will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customer’s products.
This is a full-time, temporary position. You will be starting at 07:00, Monday to Friday, with additional Saturdays
You will be based at the home store but collecting & delivering out of surrounding area's and stores.
Locations and Pay rates below;
Northampton £16 per hour
Birmingham / Wolverhampton £17 per hour
Hinckley £16.81.per hour
Burton £16.22 per hour
These will be starting from 23/02/2025 for onboard and training for 4 weeks ahead of peak roll out. This will include 2 day inductions followed by a week or 2 weeks of on the job training as required depending on experience etc.
Successful candidates with be required to pass a DBS search

Job role:

· You will typically complete an average of 5-10 deliveries per day

· Delivering bulk items to customers’ homes using a HGV 2 HIAB vehicle from stores

· Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others

· A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business

· Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer
Requirements;
 
* A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
 
* Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
 
* Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage
 
* Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently.
 
* HIAB licence – ALLMI C5 Licence.
 
* Must be happy driving an automatic vehicle.
