Nex Threat is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to provide communication architecture for the efficient operation of the installation network.

Job responsibilities include:

• Developing, coordinating, and implementing exercise support communications plans, configuring communications equipment, and assisting in installing equipment and circuitry for exercises.
• Working with the MTC ISSO and MTC ISSM to maintain ATO within the RMF and establishing training and exercise networks for LAN/WAN.
• Configuring training areas networks (classrooms, tactical operation centers, exercise areas, work cells).
• Ensuring training and simulation networks are operational at least 98% of the time during training and exercises.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate's degree in network management or related field.
• Meet DoD 8570.01-m baseline CE certification requirements at IAT II level.
• Network+ certification.
• Two years of experience in network architecture design and implementation.
• Basic knowledge of network planning, troubleshooting, maintenance, hardware, software, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, security, storage, and backup.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in network management or related field.
• CCNA certification.
