The Opportunity: FSQ Ingredients and Product Manager
-Acting as the first point of contact for both suppliers and customers regarding technical queries and compliance.

What you will contribute:

  • Manage the flow of all raw materials and finished products, ensuring they meet the rigorous quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct and update risk assessments covering allergens, microbiological, chemical, physical and vulnerability aspects to ensure the integrity of all raw materials and finished products.
  • To onboard new suppliers, reviewing manufacturing controls and ensure all necessary documents are accessible and up to date.
  • Lead the HACCP and Food Defence Teams, ensuring robust systems are maintained and to drive improvements in safety processes.
  • Work with NPD to review and approve new ingredients and specifications for new launches.
  • Responsible for Food Safety, Quality, Legality and Hygiene across all Bread production plants, managing a team of FSQ Specialists across 4 shifts.
  • Oversee the management of customer complaint investigations, reporting and trending.
  • Oversee the management of internal audits; including system, GMP and GWP audits, supporting where necessary.
  • Coordinate sampling schemes and laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and calibration.

What you will bring /Essential

Experience:

  • Supplier auditing
  • Experience in the food industry with previous leadership or supervisory responsibilities in a FSQ setting
  • Specification writing experience
  • Extensive knoweldge of HACCP
  • Risk assessment and management
  • Working knowledge of BRC and major retailer standards
  • Leading in 3rd party audits to build on current compliance platform
