Mobilityways is on a mission to make zero carbon commuting a reality. We produce ground-breaking climate tech empowering large employers to measure, reduce and report on their commuter emissions.

Main duties

“Commutology” is our trademarked term for the “science of the commute”.

Our Commutology Team are the experts on sustainable commuting, both internally and externally. Their primary focus is to ensure that our large employer clients make impact with our software solutions, ensuring that they hit their commuter emissions reduction targets.

Consultants do not have an open-ended relationship with individual clients, instead they work with a client for specific projects.

  • A named Account Manager (or Account Director) owns the relationship with each individual client and are ultimately accountable within Mobilityways for their clients.
  • Consultants are responsible for delivering successful projects. Success is measured by our internal metrics:
  • Tonnes of CO2e saved
  • Commute Emissions reduction
  • Number of consultancy hours used
  • Client satisfaction (NPS)
  • Additionally, we need to account for the metrics each client uses to measure their own sustainability and operational objectives. The client’s success metrics are contained within the client’s Impact Plan that is created and maintained by their Account Manager.
  • Consultants will work together with the assigned Account Manager/ Account Director against the Impact Plan.

In practice much of our Commutology Team’s “business as usual” work is currently focussed on supporting our clients with a set list of activities:

  • Product training for new clients.
  • Advice and guidance with the delivery of travel surveys.
  • Completing insightful data analysis, compiling travel survey reports.
  • Supporting clients in bulk sending of communications, such as personal travel plans, Liftshare invites.
  • Project managing Liftshare For Work launch campaigns.
  • Reporting back insights, impact and findings to clients.

Currently clients buy from us based primarily on our technology offering. However, our Consultancy offering is an integral part of our value proposition. In this role for a Senior Consultant, we are looking for someone that has established experience in:

  • Transport decarbonisation recommendations and strategy.
  • Transport modal shift behavioural change.
  • Relevant policy expertise and advice.
  • Data driven expertise based upon past performance.

It’s essential that you deliver the highest levels of proactive client service.

  • Ability to effectively communicate your expertise to senior stakeholders.
  • Seeking support from Account Managers if projects are stalled or at risk of stalling.
  • Escalating to line manager if there are blockages/risks.
  • Work with our Product Team to rectify technical bugs.

In order to be successful it’s important that you:

  • Effectively manage your workload, priorities, planning and SMART goals to achieve KPIs and targets.
  • Effectively track your time on projects.
  • Develop extensive knowledge on our solutions and services.
  • Deliver against KPI goals and ensuring we reach our company objectives.
  • Provide transparent feedback to your line manager regarding progress against KPI goals, flagging risks and providing guided solutions and decision making to stay on track.
  • Work with our Product Development and Marketing Teams to enhance our products and solutions.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve efficiencies and automation with products and processes and improve our propositions.
  • Ensure high data accuracy.
  • Become a Hubspot champion (CRM).
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time.
