Senior Business Support Officer | 9453 | Fixed Term Contract to 31.12.2027 | 37 hours per week | £26,403 to £28,142 per annum | (Grade

E) | County Hall, Norwich

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Officer to join the central recruitment team within Adult Social Services, Business Support.

Responsibilities
  • Raise requisitions for advertising and collate applications.
  • Schedule and book interviews, and collate information required for a job offer.
  • Support pre‑employment checks such as DBS checks, data collation, and reporting.
  • Work in collaboration with the HR function to ensure the recruitment process is efficient from end to end.
  • Prioritise and multitask, managing multiple recruitments at different stages.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office products and maintain strong communication skills.
  • Provide supportive work and assistance to other Business Support teams on ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Flexible approach with ability to reprioritise workloads to meet urgent requirements.
