Senior Business Officer (9453)
Senior Business Support Officer | 9453 | Fixed Term Contract to 31.12.2027 | 37 hours per week | £26,403 to £28,142 per annum | (Grade
E) | County Hall, Norwich
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Officer to join the central recruitment team within Adult Social Services, Business Support.
Responsibilities- Raise requisitions for advertising and collate applications.
- Schedule and book interviews, and collate information required for a job offer.
- Support pre‑employment checks such as DBS checks, data collation, and reporting.
- Work in collaboration with the HR function to ensure the recruitment process is efficient from end to end.
- Prioritise and multitask, managing multiple recruitments at different stages.
- Utilise Microsoft Office products and maintain strong communication skills.
- Provide supportive work and assistance to other Business Support teams on ad‑hoc projects.
- Excellent organisational and prioritising skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong written and verbal communication.
- Flexible approach with ability to reprioritise workloads to meet urgent requirements.
