The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to join a busy Building division, working on projects across Norfolk. The role will involve managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This position suits a hands‑on Construction Manager who is confident leading site teams, managing multiple work packages and maintaining strong control of health and safety, quality and programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage construction activities on site, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
  • Plan, organise and coordinate site operations in line with project programmes
  • Supervise subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements
  • Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with health, safety and environmental requirements
  • Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, site instructions and inspections
  • Drive quality standards on site, proactively addressing any non‑conforming works
  • Monitor progress against programme and contribute to short‑term planning and reviews
  • Liaise with clients, end users and stakeholders, resolving issues and maintaining positive working relationships
  • Lead, motivate and develop site teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability
About You
  • Proven experience in a Construction Manager role within building or construction projects
  • Strong understanding of site management, construction processes and sequencing
  • Confident managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Able to take ownership of site delivery and make informed decisions
Additional Information

This role is expected to involve significant business travel. A company car or car allowance will be provided in line with company policy.
