Trainee / Junior Estimator - Job Overview Assist in preparing estimates and tender submissions Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications Produce accurate take-offs and quantify materials Help price materials, labour and subcontract packages Prepare and maintain tender documentation and internal databases Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams Support senior estimators through all stages of the tender process Gain exposure to procurement, pre-construction planning, and project handover Trainee / Junior Estimator

- Job Requirements Degree or HNC/HND in a construction-related discipline (essential) Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking Ability to read drawings (training provided where required) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential) - lookups, formulas, data entry, spreadsheets Good general IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Confident verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and methodical approach Proactive, eager to learn, and able to follow processes accurately Based within a commutable distance of Tadworth Genuine desire to build a career in estimating Trainee / Junior Estimator - Salary & Benefits Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE) Full training and structured progression pathway Mentorship from senior estimators and pre-contracts managers Clear route toward Estimator ?
