About the Role:

Our client, a specialist Planned Works division within a national construction and refurbishment organisation, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major recladding and building envelope refurbishment project in Norwich. The successful candidate will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate multiple trades, and ensure high-quality delivery in line with health, safety, and building compliance standards. The role is hands-on and based on a live or occupied site, ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in external refurbishment or recladding projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to budget.

* Manage and coordinate subcontractors and multi-trade operatives on site.

* Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety legislation, and quality standards.

* Monitor progress, report to senior management, and maintain accurate site records.

* Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

* Liaise with residents, consultants, and stakeholders to minimise disruption.

* Ensure materials, plant, and resources are correctly managed and controlled.

* Maintain a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on recladding, façade, or large-scale refurbishment projects.

* Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and building compliance.

* Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

* CSCS card holder or equivalent.
