Head of Art & Design – Independent School

An outstanding Independent School in Norwich is seeking an engaging and visionary Head of Art & Design from January . This role provides exceptional professional autonomy and the chance to lead a department committed to creative excellence.

You will oversee teaching and curriculum development across Art Fine Art Textiles and selected Creative Media with teaching responsibilities up to GCSE and A-Level Portfolio Preparation . The successful candidate will guide students through both academic study and personal creative development enabling them to build ambitious diverse and expressive portfolios.

The school promotes artistic expression as a defining element of its educational ethos. Purpose-built studios printing presses photography spaces gallery displays and collaboration with local artists all form part of the departments creative environment.
