Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and in high demand. As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Crane Superintendent to help ensure our crane systems operate safely, reliably, and at the highest technical standard across our growing fleet.

What

will you do?

As our new Crane Superintendent, you will serve as the subject matter expert for all crane systems across our fleet, overseeing maintenance, inspections, and technical improvements. You’ll optimize our maintenance regime and support day-to-day operations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

Your main tasks include:

  • Act as the technical owner and subject matter expert for all cranes installed across the Cadeler fleet
  • Oversee and execute all crane maintenance and inspection activities down to the hook
  • Maintain a close and proactive dialogue with crane OEMs
  • Monitor wire rope condition, plan replacements, and further develop Cadeler’s wire rope strategy
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date technical records and documentation
  • Develop, refine, and optimize the crane inspection and maintenance regime
  • Support Vessel Managers and the Technical Maintenance Team with day-to-day planning, coordination, and critical spare-parts readiness
  • Contribute to internal and external audits by providing required documentation and evidence
To succeed in this role

Being part of the Cadeler community means you will have a natural interest and care for the environment and our shared mission to speed up the green energy transition. Your environmental considerations and the safety of our people and the planet will be a key priority in your daily work.

We are looking for an experienced and safety‑minded profile, who brings a structured approach, collaborates well with others, and thrives in a dynamic offshore environment.

We think you will be a good match if you:
  • Have experience working with offshore cranes and a solid understanding of relevant maritime codes and standards
  • Bring background from a similar offshore or maritime operational support role, ideally with knowledge of Classification Societies and vessel certification
  • Are proficient in standard IT tools, including MS Office
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Come work with us!
