Senior Acoustic Consultant | Norwich

£27,000 - £33,000 DOE

A well-established and growing acoustic consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its Norwich team. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced acoustician to lead projects, support junior staff, and contribute to the company's continued growth across the East of England.

In this role, you will manage building and environmental acoustics projects from early design through to completion, acting as a technical lead and trusted advisor to clients. You will work across a varied portfolio including residential, commercial, education, and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver environmental noise and building acoustics projects

Produce technical reports, noise assessments, and modelling work

Manage client relationships and support business development

Mentor and guide junior acousticians

Provide acoustic advice to planners, architects, developers, and design teams

Ensure compliance with BS4142, BS8233, and ProPG

Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in an acoustic consultancy

Strong technical background in environmental and/or building acoustics

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with Cadna

A, Sound

PLAN, or Odeon

Relevant degree and full UK driving licence
