DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer (Permanent)

Applications are welcome for Junior developer level (with strong fundamentals), or experienced Dev Ops Engineers seeking more ownership and mission impact.
Skills and experience required:

ASP.NET Core and Python development
Familiarity with AWS services
Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
CI/CD workflows, ideally Git Hub Actions
Docker basics and container workflows
Git-based development and code review practices
Awareness of API security and data protection principles

Desirables:
SQL schema or stored procedure experience
Interest in ethical AI in Education

Role Overview
We’re looking for a capable and curious Dev Ops Engineer to help build and maintain secure and scalable systems. Working closely with the CTO, you’ll turn ambitious AI concepts into reliable services. You’ll work primarily with:

ASP.NET Core
Python
AWS
Terraform
Git Hub Actions You’ll have autonomy and responsibility — ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems and learning new tools.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services in ASP.NET Core and Python
Define and manage infrastructure via Terraform on AWS
Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions
Troubleshoot issues across services, environments, and build/deployment pipelines
Write clear documentation for systems, deployments, and workflows

What’s on offer:

Salary c £45,000 to £55,000
