Job Role:

Window Fabricator – Workshop, Norwich based.
Hours of work: 39 hours per week fulltime on a temporary to permanent basis.
06.30 – 15.00 Monday – Thursday & 06.30 – 13.30 Friday
Hourly rate based on experience.

Our client specialises in the Aluminium Fabrication of doors/ windows/ curtain walling.

Key Responsibilities
As a Window Fabricator, your duties will include:
Measuring, cutting, and assembling aluminium and UPVC profiles to spec
Using hand tools, power tools, and machinery to fabricate high-quality window and door units
Fitting hardware, gaskets, beads, and seals to completed frames as required
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders
QC finished products to ensure company standards are met and adhered to
Assisting with loading, unloading, and movement of materials as directed.
Keeping the workstation clean, safe, and organised throughout the working day
Following all health & safety procedures and reporting any issues promptly
Supporting general factory operations as required
Key Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Window Fabricator is essential

Experience with metal/UPVC or aluminium fabrication preferred
Window, Door, and Curtain Wall fabrication experience in other materials is essential
CNC or similar machinery experience is advantageous
Excellent attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
Good timekeeping and reliability
Willingness to work overtime when required
Shows initiative and a strong work ethic
