We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Relief Chef to join our team. You’ll step in to support a range of kitchens — covering staff absences, busy periods, and special events. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the chance to work in diverse settings while showcasing your skills and creativity.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook meals to menu and dietary standards
Maintain high food quality, presentation, and hygiene
Follow all food safety regulations and company policies
Adapt quickly to different kitchens and teams
Support menu planning and daily operations
Assist with training and mentoring kitchen staff
Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well-organised
What We’re Looking For

Proven chef experience in restaurants, schools, or care homes
Culinary qualification or relevant training (preferred)
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Creative, reliable, and a great team player
Flexible with working hours (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
Willing to travel between sites — own transport an advantage
Enhanced DBS required for roles in schools or care environments
