Join Our Client, A Nationwide Highways Team
We are proud to work with a nationwide highways client with depots across the country. This innovative, family-run business is looking for enthusiastic individuals who want to develop their careers.
Full training is provided - it's all about your attitude!
- CSCS Card and Safety Critical Medical (required for all team members)
- First Aid Training - at least one, ideally two members per crew (If you're the right candidate, we can assist with obtaining these.)
Each crew typically consists of:
Spray Tanker Driver- Operates a rigid spray tanker vehicle
- Minimum HGV Class 2 licence (at least one Class 1 driver per crew)
- Skilled in handling large vehicles and performing safety checks
- Works closely with support operatives to ensure accurate spray application
- Responsible for vehicle presentation and timely arrival on site
- Training provided for machine calibration, loading, programming, and application
- Operates a rigid gritter vehicle
- Minimum HGV Class 2 licence (Class 1 preferred)
- Similar skill set to Spray Tanker Driver
- Will be cross-trained to operate both spray and gritter vehicles
- Requires telehandler licence for loading (we can assist if needed)
- Driving licence required
- Responsible for flatbed van and equipment (rubber mats, signage, etc.)
- Assists with spray and gritting operations from the rear platform
- Forklift/telehandler licence preferred (training support available)
- Must be proactive, team-oriented, and willing to get hands-on
- Leads and organises the crew
- Prior leadership experience required
- Liaises with supervisors, clients, and traffic management
- Ensures paperwork, measurements, and job execution are correct
- Responsible for team coordination between jobs
- First Aid trained
- Can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow processes
- Pride in work and attention to detail
- Patience and proactive mindset
- Consistent work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
