- The Assistant eCommerce Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day holistic trading of their categories online, driving total revenue and profit targets and supporting our market share ambitions.
- They will be the category expert, understanding drivers, market trends, conversion, and customer acquisition.
- They deliver new product launches, sales and trade plans, own the digital strategy, and scope partnerships with suppliers while keeping up with competitor activity.
- The role coordinates with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure categories are supported and aligned with market trends.
- The individual supports development initiatives and process improvements across , capturing eCommerce trading and customer requirements.
- Trading experience with strong financial acumen, analysing and articulating financial performance.
- Understanding of online/digital trading levers and performance marketing – confident using data to drive performance.
- Willingness to take calculated risks and push boundaries for competitive advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management – engaging, influencing, and holding team members, senior stakeholders, and third parties to account.
