We’re looking for a commercially astute and strategically minded Strategic Sourcing Lead to join our growing team. In this influential role, you’ll work with blue-chip clients to develop innovative spend management strategies and lead end-to-end sourcing activities that deliver tangible value.

What we are looking for

Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in consultancy or within blue-chip organisations
Demonstrable expertise in developing and delivering sourcing strategies and managing supplier performance
Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to analyse complex data, spot trends, and draw clear, actionable insights
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with changing priorities

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies that optimize procurement of goods and services

Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate market trends, and leverage market intelligence

Industry Monitoring: Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in strategic sourcing, recommending service improvements

Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, establish, and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance is monitored

Stakeholder

Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop sourcing plans that align with their needs

Performance Monitoring: Drive supplier relationship management activities, including regular reviews and dispute resolution

Health and Safety: Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of customers, clients, and colleagues in accordance with organisational policies

Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Uphold and promote organisational policies and procedures within this role

Skills & Experience

Demonstrable experience in blue-chip procurement
Proven experience in consultancy procurement
Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement roles focused on enhancing supplier performance
Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and negotiation techniques
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
