Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours/ week)

Salary: £50k - £60k(experience dependent)

️ What You'll Do

As a Senior Controls Engineer at AA Nottingham, you’ll take ownership of designing, reviewing, testing, and commissioning advanced control systems. You’ll play a key role in delivering reliable, high-performance solutions that meet client expectations and ensure smooth system integration.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Actively participates in the whole life cycle of delivering projects, from start to finish
• Foster great relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
• Produce, design and test documentation
• Develop PLC, HMI and SCADA software
• Perform testing with customers
• Carry out on-site commissioning and compile training manuals to run customer training sessions

What you bring

• Intermediate-level experience with major brands of PLC, DCS and SCADA/HMI platforms, with an appetite to learn new technologies.
• Proven ability to interpret and create detailed control system design documentation.
• Strong grasp of the full technical project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning.
• Excellent time management and a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to make technical decisions independently.
