Arboricultural Consultant

With offices across the country, including a strong presence in Nottingham, they deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across infrastructure, development, and environmental sectors. Due to continued growth within their environmental team, they are now seeking an Arboricultural Consultant to join their Nottingham office and contribute to a diverse range of projects in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

• Undertake tree surveys and produce BS5837 reports to support planning applications and development projects
• Provide arboricultural advice and input across multidisciplinary design teams, working closely with ecologists and engineers
• Prepare Arboricultural Impact Assessments and Method Statements in line with industry standards
• Conduct site inspections and oversee tree protection measures during construction phases
• Contribute to sustainable design solutions that integrate trees and green infrastructure into developments
• Support the continued growth of the environmental team and mentor junior staff where appropriate

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Arboriculture, Forestry, or a related environmental discipline
• Demonstrable experience undertaking BS5837 tree surveys and producing technical reports for planning
• Strong knowledge of tree legislation, planning policy, and industry standards (BS5837:2012)
• Proficiency with mapping or surveying software such as AutoCAD, QGIS, or ArborCAD
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site locations across the region

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
