Control System Project Engineer

Control System Engineers in and around Nottingham/Derby - you are wanted! I'm currently recruiting on behalf of an exciting systems integrator who works across all sorts of industrial automation projects - including battery energy storage systems, water, and baggage handling. This role is based in the office, located between Nottingham and Derby.
What You’ll Be Doing- Building and delivering PLC and SCADA solutions from concept through to site handover
- Taking ownership across the full project lifecycle, including design, FAT/SAT and commissioning
- Developing and supporting industrial communications (PROFIBUS, PROFINET)
- Creating technical documentation and assisting with customer training
- Mostly office-based engineering, with occasional site work for commissioning
- Strong PLC programming background
- SCADA/HMI development experience
- Practical knowledge of control panels, electrical design and systems integration
- Confidence in commissioning and fault-finding on live sites
