The Role
The successful candidate will plan, conduct and oversee the day‑to‑day technical running of the research group, allocating resources and providing technical supervision/training. They will be responsible for design and preparation of experiments and techniques in the areas of 3D cell culture and tissue characterisation, including assisting and training other group members. Duties also include the communication and interpretation of results, maintenance of specialist equipment and research areas, stock management, and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
AboutYou
We are seeking a candidate with strong communication and organisational skills, a proactive and flexible approach to work, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role requires proven experience in mammalian cell culture as a minimum, and the ability to lift and move loads up to 10 kg. Applicants must hold a minimum of an HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject, or have substantial experience in a relevant role.

This is a fixed‑term, full‑time position (36.25 hrs per week) funded until 30/06/2027.
